Happy New Year! I hope you had a great one. Eleanor and I are continuing with our short story, The Law of the Jungle. In this part, Henry and Blake go back to Blake’s penthouse and sexy times ensue (Not Work Safe). Enjoy!

The Law of the Jungle, Part 6
Henry had never seen anything like Blake’s penthouse. The same floor-to-ceiling windows that lined Blake’s office also lined his living room, affording a breathtaking view of Central Park and the city beyond. The furnishings were modern and obviously expensive, but not at all the lavish set up one would think a wealthy man like Blake would have. It was simple and comfortable, and Henry decided he liked it.
The bathroom, however, was another story. Luxurious to the point of near decadence, it was warm and inviting and fitted with the biggest tub that Henry had ever seen, complete with whirlpool jets. The shower was large as well with shower heads on three sides and one attached to the ceiling in the middle. It was easily big enough for two. His mouth dropped open at the sight.
With an indulgent chuckle, Blake said, “I save my extravagance for the things that really matter.”
Thanks for keeping up with this story. Under the cut, part five.

Henry moved quickly, almost too quickly, and next thing Blake knew he had a very persistent Henry Kadison looking down at him, holding on to his arm, so Blake couldn’t escape, and from the fierce look in his eyes, Henry showed no signs of relenting.
“Blake, you’re right, I don’t know what I want. I don’t know…because I didn’t expect this. I didn’t expect to meet you tonight. I didn’t expect you to show an interest in me. I’m just some farmer’s kid from Milton, Nebraska. But I do know I want you. I just…” Henry broke off, ducked his head, blushing.
Blake was stunned and astonished. Before Henry had turned away, he’d seen the sincerity in his eyes. Henry wasn’t a tease out looking for a thrill — he was innocent — the blush had given it away.
More from Henry and Blake. Just a little bit of a cliffhanger, but the following weeks will make up for it with sexytimes. 🙂 Thanks for continuing to read!

The Law of the Jungle (Part 4)
Blake was confused by the change; he thought Henry and he were on the same page about why they had come upstairs: sex. But from the look on Henry’s face, this wasn’t about to happen. Blake sighed. How come he always got the closet cases?
As a rule, Blake didn’t get involved with confused straight boys looking to experiment. He’d learned his lesson the hard way his sophomore year of college with Jeremy Winthrop. The Winthrop’s had money to rival the Rockefellers, which had been the reason Blake had been drawn to him at first. Jeremy didn’t need Blake’s money, he had his own, and it had been refreshing to have someone in his life who didn’t want to know him because of the Martin name.
Lovers for a semester, Blake had believed they were in love, but in reality he had been just a fling for his roommate. A way to pass the time until he got engaged to his girlfriend. The scorn on Jeremy’s face when Blake had pleaded for Jeremy to break off his engagement still was vivid. “You thought I loved you, Blake? It was just fucking. I’m not gay. I have a girlfriend.”
Just remembering Jeremy and his betrayal, made Blake angry all over again. How could he have been so wrong about Henry? In reality, Henry was just another Jeremy — out for himself.
If you are still reading, thank you for keeping up with us. We won’t be having a chapter next week as it is Thanksgiving here in the U.S., but we will return the following week. Sorry, but this installment sort of ends on a cliffhanger; however, it does have some sexy times, so maybe that makes up for it? *g* Enjoy!

The quick ride on the elevator upstairs only reinforced Blake’s desire to get Henry alone. The boy was simply beautiful. Out of the darkness of the club, Blake could see the perfectly sculptured body hidden underneath the plain white T-shirt. High cheekbones, golden skin and deep brown eyes completed the package. But despite the beauty, Blake could sense there was another special quality about Henry. Yes, he radiated a vitality that drew people in like a magnet, but he also had a kindness to his soul that Blake hadn’t experienced in a very long time. Delight filled Blake’s heart as he listened to Henry try and make small-talk about growing up on a farm, his apprehension evident in his tone as he stuttered out a childhood story, repeatedly looking to Blake for assurance that his tale wasn’t boring his companion.
Blake was soon caught up in Henry’s stories of his hometown in Nebraska. Plus the nervousness was endearing to Blake. He was used to being with men who were as jaded as him about sex. Henry’s shyness was a big turn-on.
